For immediate release Tuesday January 2, 2007 TORONTO: The next scheduled meeting of the Toronto Police Services Board will take place on Thursday January 4 at 5:00 PM in the Auditorium, 40 College Street. Copies of the agenda are available on the Board’s website www.torontopoliceboard.on.ca from the Board office, and limited copies are available at the meeting. Items of interest include: SWEARING-IN OF NEW BOARD MEMBER The Chair, Toronto Police Services Board, will administer the oath of office and oath of secrecy to Councillor Frank Di Giorgio who was appointed to the Board by Toronto City Council for a two-year term of office. ELECTION OF THE CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR In accordance with section 28 of the Police Services Act, which provides that the Board elect a Chair at its first meeting in each year, the Board members will elect a Chair of the Toronto Police Services Board. The Board will also elect a Vice Chair.
