The Toronto Police Services Board is a seven member civilian body that oversees the Toronto Police Service, Canada's largest municipal police service.

In Toronto, civilian governance of the police dates back to January 1, 1957, when the police departments from the original thirteen municipalities in the Toronto area amalgamated to establish the Metropolitan Toronto Police.  A civilian oversight body, the Metropolitan Toronto Board of Commissioners of Police, was also created at that time.

On May 15, 2006 the Toronto Police Services Board celebrated the 50th anniversary of the first meeting of the Metropolitan Toronto Board of Commissioners for the Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto.
