The Chair has called a Special Board Meeting to take place virtually on Saturday November 1, 2025 at 10:00AM, pursuant to section 12.1 of the Board’s Procedural By-law.

Due to the extraordinary circumstances of the matters to be discussed, this notice is not provided seven days in advance, in accordance with the exemption in section 43(6) of the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019.

At this meeting, the Board will consider confidential matters in accordance with section 44 of the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019.

The Board is responsible for ensuring the provision of adequate and effective police services in the City of Toronto, setting priorities and objectives for the Toronto Police Service, approving the annual police budget and selecting the Chief of Police.
