It is the policy of the Toronto Police Services Board that:
- The Chief of Police will ensure that there is 24 hour supervision available to Service members;
- The Chief of Police will establish procedures and processes on supervision, including setting out circumstances where a supervisor must be contacted and when a supervisor must be present at an incident scene; and
- The Chief of Police will ensure that the Service’s supervisors have the knowledge, skills and abilities to supervise.
