It is the policy of the Toronto Police Services Board that:
- Uniform and civilian members who have resigned from the Service may be eligible for temporary re-employment as a consultant or on contract;
- The Chief of Police will develop procedures governing the re-hiring of former Service members as consultants or on contract; and
- The re-hiring of former Service members as consultants or on contract requires Board approval.
